Let's start out with something really easy shall we. This first recipe is one that's been in my family for years and is appropriately called (after the special loving lady that taught it to me) my 'Mother Rosa's Easy Bake Cake'. It's fast, simple and oh so good!
"MOTHER ROSA'S EASY BAKE CAKE"
Ingredients:
7 eggs (use jumbo size eggs only)
7 oz. of Crisco oil
13 oz. of sugar
12 oz. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. whisky (no other substitutes)
Directions: Beat eggs thoroughly then add oil, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and whisky together. Then add flour and stir thoroughly.
*Preheat oven at 350F (or 400F depending if oven isn't hot enough at 350F)
