Nothing is more powerful than the written word. It moves us in ways nothing else could, and on Valentine's Day, you might even say it's an arrow from cupid right to your heart. The right card is a representation of ourselves and possibly (for those who won't have the opportunity to spend the big 'love' day with their sweeties), represents us when we're not there to represent ourselves.
Special occasions garner special cards (and this is definitely no exception) each donning loving words that play on our deepest emotions making us feel warm and fuzzy all over. Prompting reactions like 'Awwwwww', 'that's so sweet of you', and the piece de resistance, 'I love you'. The perfect card (e-cards too!) speak volumes with the words leaping off the page that pull on the recipients heartstrings. If it makes him or her tear up, you've hit the jackpot. Oh I can hear the sweet sounds of harps already!
Also remember that a little embellishment (on the outside of the card) only enhances the message on the inside. So whether it's sparkles, ribbons or satin finishes, make it a good one. Funny, touching, simple or straightforward, let it be a Valentine's Day your honey never forgets. Hey, if not you'll only have 365 days in the dog house to make up for it. Oh and newsflash, Rover isn't looking for a roommate.
